A campaign that is presented by a fun, positive, young mascot that will connect with the Gen Z audience and encourage to join in the crucial fight against child poverty in Australia.

About the mascot

Meet our fun, quirky, informative mascot of the campaign 'B'.
B represents not only the Barnardos brand but also the younger generation, Gen Z, as this campaign is to encourage the generation to join the charities cause.

 

Through out this campaign B will incite change, optimism, and hope as he explains the mission behind Barnardos, the fight against child poverty in Australia. This is done through a variety of collateral including the star of the show, a short animation.

The Poster

As the slogan for this campaign encourages the audience to 'Click Once', the poster not only promotes the brand and cause but also includes a QR code that links the user directly to the website.

The Animation

The animation is the star of the campaign where our mascot comes to life to deliver the message, statistics, and the solution.

My skill set really was put to the test as I am handy with illustration and audio design. Few elements were supplied by the client and incorporated into the animation where as character illustration, text, animation, and audio where developed to bring the whole video together.

This animation has been developed to suit most social media apps such as Youtube shorts, Instagram stories and posts, and Tiktok, which is where the audience will mostly see this campaign.
